How much data do I need?

Last updated on 04 Sept, 2026

The easiest way to choose the right MyBundle Mobile plan is to see how much mobile data you already use. If you're currently with T-Mobile, AT&T, or Verizon, you can check your usage right from your current carrier account.

If possible, look at the last 2–3 months to get a better idea of your typical usage. If you're on a family plan, make sure you're looking at the usage for your individual phone line, not the entire account.

T-Mobile

  • In the T-Life app:

  • Sign in and select Account. Select your phone line under People. Select Data used. Select Usage Overview to see your usage.

  • You can also sign in at T-Mobile.com and go to Usage → Data, then select your line. Or dial #932# from your T-Mobile phone to check your current data usage.

AT&T

  • In the AT&T app:

  • Sign in. Select Controls. Select Usage. Review the data usage for your device.

  • You can also sign in to your AT&T account online and visit the Usage Center, select your phone line, and choose Data. You can change the billing period to review previous months. Or dial *3282# from your AT&T phone to receive your current billing-cycle usage by text.

Verizon

  • In the My Verizon app:

  • Sign in. Select Mobile. Scroll to Usage. Review the data used for your current billing period.

  • You can also sign in to your Verizon account online and go to Usage to review your data. Verizon allows you to look at previous monthly usage as well. Or call #DATA from your Verizon phone for a usage update.

Once you know how much data you typically use, choosing your MyBundle Mobile plan is simple:

  • 2GB: A great fit if you typically use 2GB or less each month.

  • 5GB: A good fit if you typically use between 2GB and 5GB each month.

  • Unlimited: Best if you regularly use more than 5GB or simply don't want to worry about how much data you're using each month.

Remember, your phone may show a lot of overall internet activity, but data used while you're connected to Wi-Fi doesn't count toward your mobile data allowance. If you're usually connected to Wi-Fi at home and work, you may need less mobile data than you think.
