My number was returned to original carrier

Last updated on 04 Sept, 2026

If your number transfer appeared to start but your number ended up back with your previous carrier, the port likely failed after the initial request was accepted.

Why this happens

• The port didn't complete within the allowed window and was automatically reversed

• Your old carrier manually rejected the transfer after it was submitted

• A technical error occurred during the transfer process

What to check

• Confirm your old SIM is active again — if the port reversed, your old service should have been restored

• Check the Mobile Dashboard in your MyBundle account for the port status — it may show a failure or rejection reason

Next steps

Log in to your MyBundle account, click the person icon in the top right, then click 'Mobile' to open your Mobile Dashboard. Select 'Contact Support' to start a chat with our mobile support team, who can help with any questions or issues.

Tip: If your old service has been restored, do not cancel it until the retry is confirmed as complete.
