My new eSIM shows as 'MOBILE' or another name

Last updated on 08 Sept, 2026

After installing your MyBundle Mobile eSIM, you may notice that the eSIM is labeled “MOBILE,” a network name, or even the name of your previous carrier in your phone’s cellular settings. This is normal and does not affect your service.

The label is simply how your device identifies the cellular line.

On iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular, select the MyBundle Mobile line, and rename the label if you want.

On Android, look for the SIM or Mobile Network settings for your device. Your phone number, plan, and service are not changed by the label.
